A new Heineken Experience opened at the historic Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam at the beginning of December 2008. Designed and produced by BRC Imagination Arts, the re-designed visitor experience makes extensive use of specially produced high definition video programmes. Electrosonic’s UK office was appointed by BRC, www.brcweb.com, as its principal sub-contractor for audio-visual systems integration.

The Torbay Hospital facilities provide a completely integrated system consisting of eighteen linked interactive teaching spaces, centred around a simulated operating theatre and simulated ward.

In 2010 Electrosonic installed a video wall and image processing system at the Derbyshire Constabulary’s new purpose built control centre. Along with other police forces across the UK, Derbyshire’s security cameras and surveillance control rooms are increasingly central to crime prevention and monitoring of terrorist threats.

Visitors to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans are moved and excited by its unique new immersive film attraction, “Beyond All Boundaries,” which not only tells the story of the “war that changed the world” but also breaks boundaries of its own in 4D cinema experiences.  Electrosonic was responsible for the design and integration of the Audio Visual and show control system for what Tom Brokaw called “the most significant cinematic piece on World War II.”

The Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center in Charleston, South Carolina have chosen a combination of Electrosonic VECTOR™ image processors and Clarity Wildcat LCD cubes for important applications of color to large screen displays on board their ships.

Trafik Stockholm (a joint venture between the City of Stockholm and the Swedish Road Administration, Vägverket) is responsible for traffic management on Stockholm City streets and on the state roads in Stockholm County and Gotland. Cameras, sensors and information systems that can be used to manage traffic have been set up along the major highways and in tunnels.

The Metropolitan Police Service of London, UK, has commissioned two new Special Operations Centers in Lambeth and Hendon as part of its complete overhaul and updating of its Command and Control, Communications and Information (C3i) systems.

The UK Highways Agency is responsible for operating, maintaining and improving the strategic road network in England. It has a number of Traffic Management Centers that monitor traffic conditions and take corrective actions when required. The centers are run in conjunction with the police and emergency services.
