Electrosonic brings home two awards from the 2010 AV Awards

London’s Radisson Blu Portman Hotel in Marble Arch was the venue for the prestigious AV Awards dinner held this year on the 8th October, 2010, with more than 500 AV professionals attending the event. The awards in each category are only given to the best of the best from the AV industry.  Electrosonic was the winner of both the Consumer Installation Award, and the Business Installation Award.

The 2010 AV Awards event was only the second time that a single company has won both the Business and Consumer Installation Awards. Electrosonic was the previous double winner, taking the Business Installation Award, as well as the Consumer Installation Award in 2005. Electrosonic’s long-term project excellence has been consistently recognised over several years, with Electrosonic taking awarded two or more AV Awards away each year since 2003

The judge, Jason Brameld of Mark Johnson Consultants, commented on Electrosonic’s Scotch Whisky Experience project, “The installation was a clear improvement [on its predecessor] and has been well received by the attraction operator and visitors alike.”

The judge, Graham Naylor Smith of Arup Communications, commented on Electrosonic’s WHO SHOC Room project, “Electrosonic demonstrated excellent project management to have met all the deadlines on a project in such a location, and the submission covered every category of requirements right through to customer feedback.”

David Ambrose, Managing Director of Electrosonic Ltd. summarised the event when he said “I was delighted to see us win these awards, as both were in keenly contested categories with some strong competition.  The awards reflect Electrosonic’s ability to deliver complex, innovative, high quality solutions to customers who recognise and value excellence in engineering.  Congratulations to all involved in delivering these highly successful projects.”
