Visitors to the Maritime Experiential Museum at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore can get an up-close look at a shipwreck in the Typhoon Theater where Electrosonic provided audio-visual design, engineering, integration and installation of the audio, video and control equipment to help simulate an amazing historical journey. The company was hired by Sunray Woodcraft Construction and worked under the general guidance of museum designers Ralph Appelbaum Associates. Super 78 created the content for the attraction.

The National Trust for Scotland recently completed a major development bringing all the Robert Burns related sites in Alloway, Scotland, together. Principal among these sites is the Burns Cottage, which for many years has represented the nucleus of the museum, and a brand new museum building; together they represent the new Robert Burns Birthplace Museum. Event Communications designed the museum exhibition, and Electrosonic’s Design Consulting team began the project as their audio-visual systems designer. After a tender process, Electrosonic was also appointed as the AV systems integrator, working directly for the National Trust for Scotland.

An inspiring theatrical production starring Atlantic bottlenose dolphins is thrilling and amazing visitors at the newly-expanded Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. AT&T Dolphin Tales presents a sweeping 25-minute musical tribute to the beauty and grace of dolphins. Electrosonic played a major role in the show’s development, designing, supplying and installing all the audio and video equipment the show required. The show was crafted by Florida-based entertainment design and production company WOW!Works.

The National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH) reopened its doors in a stunning new 100,000-square-foot building on Independence Mall in Philadelphia. NMAJH is the nation’s only museum dedicated solely to telling the story of Jews in America from their arrival more than 350 years ago to the present day.

The National Maritime Museum opened its new £36.5m Sammy Ofer Wing, housing ‘Voyagers, a permanent gallery dedicated to helping visitors gain a richer understanding of Britain’s maritime heritage at the beginning of July 2011. The gallery was designed by Real Studios, with audio-visual creative direction by the Light Surgeons. Electrosonic was selected by the museum to supply, install, commission and provide warranty of the audio-visual hardware. Special tools used during the project include 3D projection drawings and pixel mapping.

Developer OCT called on Electrosonic to provide all the AV solutions for two new dark ride attractions at Happy Valley outside Shanghai and Window of the World in Shenzhen, north of Hong Kong.  Although a thousand miles separate the theme parks, the two attractions were virtually identical in size and scope for Electrosonic, which supplied full projection systems and screens, the main show control system, 4D effects, audio and lighting.

On 10 June 2011, English Heritage opened the doors to their new attraction “Operation Dynamo: Rescue from Dunkirk”. The network of Secret Wartime Tunnels stretches 60m in length, twenty-six metres deep underground, behind the White Cliffs of Dover. Audio-visual technology is used throughout the eight zones to re-create the drama of the Dunkirk evacuation.

Jodrell Bank, home of the famous Lovell radio telescope, opened its new exhibition in April 2011 after upgrading its visitor facilities with the addition of two pavilions: the Planet Pavilion and the Space Pavilion. The pavilions house exhibitions on astronomy and the work of Jodrell Bank. The audio-visual and interactive elements of the exhibits were installed by Electrosonic under subcontract to the Moule Partnership.
