On Site AV and VC Services

Electrosonic’s On Site Service business extends the comprehensive levels of support available by providing staff to support a whole range of activities on our clients’ sites. From helpdesk and reservations through to meeting room and high-end event support our staff are trained and experienced to deal with every situation our clients demand.  Reporting and providing cover for staff absences ensure that we provide our clients with all their needs.

Electrosonic is a major provider of out sourced staff to the corporate sector within the AV industry in the UK – employing approximately 75 people across fifteen contracts and supporting over 30 locations.  We also provide support in Frankfurt for one of our major clients.

The range of duties undertaken and activities supported by our on site staff include:

  • Helpdesk and reservations duties for audio visual equipment, video conferencing and audio conferencing
  • Audio-visual and videoconferencing meeting set ups
  • Set up and operation of equipment for major client presentations (including global videoconferences)
  • Major Event co-ordination, set up and support
  • Undertaking periodic room functionality testing
  • Resolution of specific room faults
  • Technical consultancy
  • Undertaking minor installation projects (e.g. plasma / projector displays, system enhancements etc.)
  • Management of 3rd party service and maintenance contracts
  • Production of management information reports

The size of teams engaged in such support ranges from one person through to twenty two.  In addition we employ a number of Flexible Support Technicians who are site trained and ensure that a seamless service offering can be maintained when full time staff are absent for holidays, sickness and training or other planned or unplanned absences.

As a major global player in the AV industry Electrosonic also has similar contracts in the USA and we are actively seeking opportunities to support our clients in other parts of the world.  Our client list includes some of the world’s major global corporations who have made a significant investment in their audio-visual and videoconferencing infrastructure.  We are proud that they have chosen to work with Electrosonic to provide the necessary personnel in support of these systems – a major tranche of their global communications strategy.

Electrosonic is proud of its proven track record in this important area of the company’s activities.  Many of our current clients have extended existing agreements without going to competitive tender, such is the confidence and recognition that they have in the quality of our service delivery.

We have extended our ISO 9001 : 2000 and ISO 14001 accreditations to our on site contracts and in order to maintain quality and continuity we have developed a web based infonet where all local policies and procedures, as well as those that need to be adhered to centrally, are stored.  This is a valuable repository of information, which can be accessed by all our out sourced staff that underpins Electrosonic’s reputation as market leader in the delivery of outsourced services.
